Botox and Dysport work by relaxing the muscles that cause lines and wrinkles used for facial expressions.  Over time, these wrinkles eventually create lines even when the face is at rest.  This is also why facial muscle strength and structure are the primary factor for prescribing Botox, and not age.  However, these lines at rest are a key indicator of a person’s age.   Therefore, for those in their twenties, Botox and Dysport are the single best products available for preventing lines and wrinkles.

Botox and Dysport may also be used for sweaty palms, feet and underarms.  For some, excessive perspiration is a chronic condition; for others it may be situational where it is triggered only in high stress or high anxiety situations which may lead to an awkward handshake or noticeable perspiration through clothing.  Whether chronic or situational, both types are excellent candidates for hyperhydrosis treatment.

Titan Skin Tightening
 

Once remedied only by the sharp steel of a surgeon’s blade, loose skin can now be tightened with no downtime, anesthesia or scarring using the latest innovations in light based treatment.  By penetrating deep into the dermis, the infrared light stimulates natural collagen production, effectively tightening the skin.

The Titan has proven most effective on the face (for sagging jowls for example), upper arms and the abdomen.

Like with most light based treatments, skin tightening requires multiple treatments spaced at least one month apart, with significant results typically seen after three treatments.
  

LimeLight Photo Facial (FotoFacial)

Aside from lines and wrinkles, skin texture and pigmentation are the next great telltale signs of our age.  Many of us do not put on sunscreen when we’re outside even on a sunny day, and even fewer of us put on sunscreen on a cloudy day, eventually resulting in pigmented skin due to the sun’s UVA rays which penetrate far deeper than UVB rays.  Even on cloudy days these UVA rays are penetrating deep into the dermis, damaging the skin while creating pigmentation that slowly makes its way to the surface.  There are a few methods to combat this including chemicals peels, topical creams, and preventative measures such as using a high grade sun screen like Obagi SPF 35.  But perhaps the most effective single method is the Photo Facial or FotoFacial.  The LimeLight Photo Facial uses what is known as an Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) to precisely target pigmentation and diffuse redness, while also smoothing out the texture of the skin.  The powerful, yet precisely calibrated, energy delivered to the skin causes the pigmentation to slowly rise to the surface where it then flakes off naturally, leaving your skin with a smooth, consistent color and a radiating glow.

For the ultimate in relaxation we offer our Deluxe European Facial.  It’s a customized facial so soothing and so refreshing you’ll wish everyday could be a facial day.  We begin with a thorough skin analysis followed by a deep cleansing steam facial that prepares the skin for the exfoliating enzyme treatment.  Following the customized exfoliation, we skillfully extract any impurities from the skin.

A masque, specific for your skin, is then applied.  For added comfort and aromatherapy, chamomile bags are gently placed on the eyes as well.  As the masque and chamomile work its magic, your scalp, hands, arms, neck and shoulders are massaged into a state of blissful tranquility.  Once the masque is removed, a specific serum for your skin type is applied.  As the serum soaks into the skin, the facial concludes with an ultrasound treatment to smooth any fine lines and wrinkles.  It’s a seventy-five minute procedure that you will wish could last forever, but once out of the chair, you will feel refreshed, invigorated, and looking fantastic!
